Dannah Jarrad, MS, RDN, LDN, CPT
Hi there, I’m Dannah, a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer passionate about helping children and families build healthy, confident relationships with food and movement.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Exercise & Sport Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my Master of Science in Nutrition from Meredith College. My education and training have helped shape my evidence-based, family-centered approach to nutrition care.
I’ve always loved working with kids, which naturally led me toward pediatric nutrition. I’m passionate about helping children and families develop a positive relationship with food and movement from an early age.
Growing up, I saw how much diet culture can influence the way we think and talk about food, our bodies, and health. I believe kids deserve something different. Nutrition isn’t about restriction or perfection—it’s about nourishment, balance, enjoying a variety of foods, and finding what works best for you and your family.
My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with practical, individualized support. Whether you’re navigating picky eating, introducing new foods, working toward more balanced meals, or supporting your child’s growth, my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in your choices.
Most importantly, I want Sprout & Thrive to be a place where families feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, and building healthy habits without guilt or rigid rules.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to helping your family sprout, grow, and thrive.
